1 - Commended
Consistently demonstrates the competency to a high standard with confidence; showing sound understanding of the interaction between this and other competencies. For a F1RST result, most competencies must be rated 1.
2 - Satisfactory
Consistently demonstrates the competency. The associate meets the expected standard but may lack the polish or deeper understanding seen at level 1.
3 - Requires Development
Fails to consistently demonstrate the competency. Any grade 3 on the advanced test results in the candidate being unsuccessful. This is the key area for observer feedback and development planning.
